The Gift Aid scheme enables the parish to benefit from additional funds through The Inland Revenue, without additional cost to us the contributing parishioners.

Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, we get an extra 28 pence from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation go further. This means that £100 can be turned into £128, just so long as donations are made through Gift Aid. Imagine what a difference that could make, and it does not cost you a thing.
Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs will continue to pay 28p in the £ in respect of Gift Aid donations up to 5 April 2011 despite the fact that the basic rate of income tax was reduced to 20p from 6 April 2009.

So if you want your donation to go further, Gift Aid it.
