Family Ministry

Picture
The purpose of the Family Ministry group is to foster a growing sense of the Parish as a family. With all our diversity, talents and difficulties, as a Parish we hope to be welcoming to all, to embrace all who wish to be a part of The Annunciation and St. Augustine’s Catholic Church whatever ones circumstances or condition. To extend a loving hand in fellowship, encourage a feeling of community, offer opportunity to become part of our family, help to resolve difficulties, create some fun times and with all our messiness, to grow together. The group attempt to do this in a variety of ways; some of the ways include welcoming visitors and would-be parishioners as well as the regular parishioners, watching out for those in need. Basically, listening to what the parishioners are saying. We socialise after each weekend Masses where tea and coffee are made available. We also provide books for young children to look at during Mass.

Membership to the Family Ministry Group is open to everyone.
The co-ordinator of the group is Osaze Ozzie Agho. For more details, please contact the parish.
