Marriage

Picture
This is a Sacrament of Union between a man and a woman where both exchange, their consent, freely, to live as husband and wife for the rest of their lives. Marriage notification must be given to the Parish Priest at least six months before the chosen date. One party must be a baptised catholic and live in the parish boundary.  If this is not the case, a letter of freedom is required from your parish Priest before the marriage can be arranged to take place in this parish.

The parish has a Marriage Team who works with the Parish Priest with the aim to share their own marriage life experience with the would-be couples with a view of encouraging and supporting them to treasure this special Sacrament. For more details, please contact the parish priest.
